Welcome to the 3rd Birthing Cross+Gen Worship conference. We are honored you have chosen to join us in the designing and creation of new methods, models and materials for faith formation in the post-Gutenberg, post-television, neo-Google world! Welcome also to our theologian and thought leader for this event, Dr. David J. Lose, President of The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia. Along with David and our Steering Committee, some of the most daring pioneers and practitioners in the Cross+Gen movement have gathered at your service this week. They are here to share their stories and help you look at your situation, face your unique challenges, and design opportunities for Cross+Gen Ministries in your setting.  At this event you will:

  • Immerse yourself and team in the latest thinking, designs and experiments in Cross+Gen faith formation
  • Explore what our 12 Case Study presenters are learning, how they have succeeded, how they may have failed, and how they are failing forward for the sake of the church
  • Craft your own first experiments, fortify a dream team and cast a powerful vision for Cross+Gen worship, education and relational ministry in your setting
  • Go Home with a plan, a passion and a posse to support you in your designs for Cross+Gen faith formation
