  • Link to Living Well: Christian Practices for Everyday Life by Lifelong Faith Associates presents twelve essential practices for a Christian way of life such as Caring for the Body, Celebrating Life, Eating Well, Forgiving, Managing Household Life, Participating in Community, and Praying.  Each free downloadable chapter presents the Biblical foundation of the Christian practice and a variety of practical suggestions for living the practice and how to make it an integral part of everyday life.  A companion workbook is available for children.  

  • Link to “An Invitation into Deeper Living” by Reverend Emmy Kegler in Living Lutheran describes the process that authors Ellie Roscher and Heidi Barr went through in writing their book 12 Tiny Things: Simple Ways to Live a More Intentional Life. Besides the book, Roscher and Barr have developed a website and Facebook group, where ideas are curated including mediations, congregational tools and small group activities.

  • Link to The Wired Word, an online curriculum that provides weekly Adult Bible lessons based on current news stories.  It can be used for standalone lessons with both adults and youth for a low subscription rate.

  • Dialogues On by Sparkhouse is a series of small group resources that help participants explore and discuss difficult topics.  Series titles include: Racism, Sexuality, and The Refugee Crisis. 

  • FaithLink: Connecting Faith and Life is a downloadable curriculum for adults from Cokesbury that connects faith with everyday issues.  Topics range widely from the Covid-19 vaccine to sustainable living to caregiving.  

  • Earthbound: Created and Called to Care for Creation, a DVD series from Select Learning, connects scripture and our Lutheran traditions and helps us rethink our relationship to God’s creation.

  • Live in Grace, Walk in Love: A 365-Day Journey by Bob Goff is a year long collection of mediations that helps readers step out in love and confidence on a daily basis. For individuals or small group devotions.
