About the CENetwork

" ...that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love..." Colossians 2:2

The Christian Education Network of the ELCA includes both professional and diversely gifted volunteers who are involved in lifelong faith formation ministries through congregations and many of our ELCA and partner organizations in a variety of roles. CENetwork members are linked by our mission to support one another in our callings so “…that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love…” (Col. 2:2)  To read more about the CENetwork, please click here!

The CENetwork Board is set up with the executives: president, vice president, secretary/historian, and the financial secretary, and the past president.  The membership is represented by regional Network Advocates.  Also, serving on the board in a non-voting role are a chaplain, an Augsburg Fortress liaison, an ELCA liaison, and an ELCA Lay Schools Representative.  The CENetwork has two paid contractors: the coordinator and the social media coordinator.  The volunteer positions are usually a two year commitment.  The leadership can be found here!
