This section of the site will continue to grow as we receive your feedback and asess your needs to plan, implement, and address the challenges of building and maintaining faith formation programs in your congregations. We hope to provide you with materials to fit your needs.

We feel our role is to help Christain educators find as many venues and as much information as possible to support and help them in their role of planning and implementing Christian education and faith formation ministries.

Free Online Resources for Christian Education and Faith Formation:

  • Feautor.org - a free, multilingual, and open space to share religious resources. This site is hosted by the ELCA Resource Centers.
  • Vibrant Faith@Home - a free online resource designed to equip and empower households in their faith journey from Vibrant Faith Ministries.
  • Enter the Bible - A wealth of resources from Luther Seminary to help you grow in your faith, add depth to your Bible studies and truly discover the people, places and events of the Bible.
  • Book of Faith - On this website, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America has made a commitment to encourage all members of  congregations, from children to adults, to dig deeper into the book of faith, the Bible.
  • A.P.C.E. Advocate Journal - The Association of Presbyterian Christian Educators provides issues and topics for educators and their staffs. Past issues are downloadable in pdf format. Members receive current issues on a quarterly basis. 
  • Christian Education Workshops - Children and Prayer; Faith Development; Games for Learning; Asking the Right Questions: An Approach to Bible Study; The Christian's Role in Nurturing Faith; Consultation Training: Reshaping Christian Education; Developing Effective Adult Bible Study; and eleven more!
